Cheesy Rice with Broccoli


Our version of this classic dish that has been a family favorite for generations. Simple and easy using water and your choice of chicken or beef. Directions: add 6 cups of water to a sauce pan, add rice and sauce pack . Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer, cover and stir occasionally until the rice is cooked. (approximately 30 minutes). We like to added cooked/canned chicken or 1.5 to 2 pounds of browned ground beef. For an extra twist, place in a 9 x 13 baking pan and top with cheese. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 Deg. F. until the cheese is melted. Cooking times vary by oven.
